Hopeless Romantic.

I love that look people get when they’re thinking about someone they like. That dreamy eyed, surfacing smile, floaty look. I love their blinks, and how it looks like they’re brushing stars away from their sight. I love the hesitant breathing. I find it cute that, in their mind, they’re not where they are, but where they want to be.

Call me a cheesy hopeless romantic but I think seeing old couples is the cutest thing ever. In this day and age with a divorce rate of over 50%, I always ask myself “how do they do it”. I use my head a lot to analyze things but I learned that real love is from the heart. When you use your heart, you just want to take care of the other person. In relationships, people may quit on you or become bored, but don’t become that person. Always remind yourself - through thick or thin, enjoy the ride.

I've realized how much of a hopeless romantic I am as of late. But I kind of like that about myself. It can create a lot of problems at times, but it also allows me to dedicate myself to something with such passion that is difficult to break. I’ve never been determined enough to fully exhibit this, but I’m excited to see the day when I do.

I’ll always be a hopeless romantic. A girl should always feel special and like she means the world to her significant other. I told myself I will always going to notice the little things and remember the important dates. I would remind the boy I will fall in love with in the future how amazing he is and remind him how lucky I feel.

Last summer I've worked in the United States. I saw so many romantics come in and out there. The assistant general manager and my co-workers told me so many stories about sweet things guys had done for them. I was always the one to listen to their problems and be the shoulder to cry on when they needed it.

Then heartbreak came and that showed me that even though others hurt you it doesn’t mean that the next one will. No matter what you have gone through you always have to give the next person a 100% because love is a risk. You take that chance of opening yourself up and letting your walls down knowing there is a chance you could get hurt again. At the same time the reward of finding someone that makes you happy and completes you seems to out weigh that risk of getting hurt.

I just love looking forward to things. In particular that guy that is out there right now preparing himself for me. He may not know it yet, but one day I’m going to do everything I can to him. I’m excited for all of the little things and the big things. I even look forward to all the fights, all the tears, all the obstacles, because they make it so much more worth it. Worth it for all of those special moments, all the laughs, all the smiles, all of the moments where your heart beats so fast that it just might explode. I want to appreciate it all.

I want him to be the one whoever is that someone for me. The one and only. I want God to show me His Love through him. That God picked him just for me and me alone. I cannot wait to dedicate everything God has given me to him.
No distance or obstacles are to big to overcome true love. I truly do believe if it’s meant to be it will happen. It may not happen right away but eventually when the time is right it will. Love is a funny thing and sometimes it has a strange way of coming to us. In till that day comes I write to that future guy. One day he will read all these letters and see just how long I had been waiting for him to come along.
