Playing Safe.

It’s a person that is afraid to cross a certain bridge.
It is a person that is afraid of taking risks.
It is a person who is afraid of rejection.
But they are challenged to take a certain course that is further answers a yes and a no.
They are the ones who loves to experiment things.
Whether they fail or succeed, still in every way they move, they play it safe.

I don’t like to be the one that gets hurt. I don’t like opening myself up to be vulnerable. Is it better to open up and perhaps end up with a broken heart or have restraint and “play it safe” ?

As humans we usually hate being in vulnerable positions. We like to be in our own comfort zone. Sometimes people just think it’s better to not want anything at all. That way if it doesn't happen or we don’t get it, we won’t get disappointed or get hurt. But isn’t that a bit pessimistic? I’m sure you’ve heard of the term, “No risk, No reward.” I mean think about it. Most of the things we’ve achieved as a human race were achieved because of some one’s willingness to be vulnerable. People took chances, even if the odds were completely against them. Do you want to live your whole life wondering, “What if?” Do you want to live your life being afraid to take a chance? “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear” You’ll never find out unless you try. I mean, what’s the point in even having a dream if you’re afraid to fail or make sacrifices along the way? It’s the times you fail and sacrifice that teach you to value your times of success.

Never limit yourself when it comes to happiness. Learn how to take risks, because life is so much beautiful outside the comfort zone.
Hearts. They don't lie; they just quiver in fear. I don’t know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of pain, fear of rejection. Sometimes the fear of just making a decision. Because… What if you’re wrong? What if you make a mistake you can’t undo? Whatever it is we’re afraid of, one thing holds true: That by the time the pain of not doing the thing gets worse than the fear of doing it, it can feel like we’re carrying around a giant tumor….and really, aren’t we? Everyone can see it on you, you can feel it, you can’t look in the mirror without denying that it’s there. ‘The early bird catches the worm. ‘A stitch in time saves nine.’ ‘He who hesitates is lost.’ We can’t pretend we haven’t been told. We’ve all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time; heard the poets urging us to seize the day.

Still, sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today’s possibility under tomorrows rug until we can’t anymore. Until we finally understand for ourselves that knowing is better than wondering. That waking is better than sleeping. And that even the biggest failure, even the worst most intractable mistake, beats the hell out of not trying.

"I want him to be the one whoever is that someone for me. The one and only. I want God to show me His Love through him. That God picked him just for me and me alone. I cannot wait to dedicate everything God has given me to him.
No distance or obstacles are to big to overcome true love. I truly do believe if it’s meant to be it will happen. It may not happen right away but eventually when the time is right it will. Love is a funny thing and sometimes it has a strange way of coming to us. In till that day comes I write to that future guy. One day he will read all these letters and see just how long I had been waiting for him to come along." - MG

God doesn't know how to fail. :D
