I for real don’t have a boyfriend - I sit by myself and I watch Law & Order. I don’t, like, have a boyfriend. I don’t have like even kind of a boyfriend. I don’t have someone that I’m texting that might someday be my boyfriend. There’s like nothing going on right now.— Taylor Swift on Ellen DeGeneres
I’m single by choice, and I will continue to be till I meet someone that deserves me.
I won't say that i'm single because no one likes me, or they think i'm ugly or whatever. On the contrary there are people who confesses their feelings to me, but there's no spark or whatever. I can't feel the soul-crashing attraction. You know the feeling that sweeps you off your feet. LOL -.- I feel very flattered though that out of many girls out there they find me as their right one. I might hurt them unintentionally, but it's better to tell them that we're better off as friends than to give them false hopes. && good thing they able to understand and still think around as friends. :)
Have you ever noticed that when a guy says he’s single, it seems like it’s a choice on his part but when a woman says she’s single, it feels like something that has chosen her? Like, it’s this curse that has been cast on her. She admits it in a tone that whispers, “But I’m doing okay… It’s my turn soon, I just know it.” You’re not making the most of being single if all you can think about is finding a partner, and asking God why you don’t have one yet.
Making the most of being single means being on your own. It’s just you and God. Being single is about discovering who you are, setting personal boundaries, knowing your likes and dislikes, your passions and the desires of your heart. During the past months i really got to know myself, my wants and my what not's. My priorities, dreams and aspirations. It's like i forge a relationship between myself and I.
We don't want to be in the same damn situation, like on a repeat cycle.
“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.”— John LennonI'm single because I want to be single. Simple as that. When I finally decide I want to be to be in a relationship, I wanna be able to give 'em my all, so until than I'm going to remain single. Generally, society make us think that being single is being doomed or, an unwanted situation for a low self-esteem nerd, or judge you with “you-must-have-a-problem” label if you are not in a relationship. We imagine that we are automatically miserable if we hop into being single. So people think again!
“While you’re single, it’s important to pay attention to how fun your life is and all the things you say YES to. Wanna have dinner? Yes. Want to go to a party? Yes. Want to drive to Vegas tonight? Yes. Want to go to a dinner where you won’t know anyone except me? Yes. Want to die your hair blue for fun? Yes. Want to want to want to? Yes. Yes. Yes. It’s how we learn what we like and what we hate and how to handle different people in new situations. Don’t lose it.”In this world where sex and violence reigns, it'll be really hard for us to find our one true love. I always tell everyone that if i'm going to be in a relationship i want it to go for a long run. But first I want to meet someone that will make me realize why i shouldn't stay single. That someone who wants to show me he's all i ever needed and i'm all he ever wanted. So until then i'm gonna be single, no attachments whatsoever.
